The successful candidate will bring a trade qualification in horticulture or agriculture, at least 2 years post-trade experience, and a valid driver's licence, along with strong leadership and a practical, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• A relevant trade qualification in horticulture, agriculture, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience in horticultural growing or farm management.
• Current and valid Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement seasonal production plans from soil preparation to harvest and market delivery.
• Source high-quality seeds, seedlings, bulbs, and rootstocks, using advanced techniques where appropriate.
• Direct and oversee all farming activities, including fertiliser programs and pest/weed control to maintain crop health and productivity.
• Coordinate post-harvest handling: collection, storage, grading and packaging to meet market specs.
• Manage farm infrastructure maintenance, safety, and record-keeping to monitor performance against targets and contracts.
