Reporting to the Manager Strategic
Planning you will be responsible for providing heritage and techincal conservation advice on
behalf of Council to internal and external stakeholders. The role will be pivotal in leading Council
and the Community in heritage conservation through developing, coordinating and
implementing Council’s Heritage Strategy, as well as assessing development applications and managing the
preparation of heritage policies and strategies.
You will be motivated and passionate about heritage and
conservation with demonstrated experience applying heritage conservation
principles and have well developed research and analytical skills with the
ability to resolve complex heritage issues. You will have excellent communication
skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders on
heritage and conservation matters.
