Job summary

SA Health's Southern Adelaide Local Health Network in Bedford Park's Hepatology unit is seeking a Consultant Hepatologist to join the tertiary Liver Unit. You will deliver clinical services to hepatology and transplant medicine patients in a multidisciplinary environment.

Reporting to the Head of Unit, you will provide specialist level care, supervise Senior Medical Practitioners and trainees, contribute to guidelines and protocols, and participate in the academic life of the department.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent required.
• Specialist qualifications and registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Experience in Hepatology and liver transplant medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist level care to hepatology and transplant medicine patients.
• Supervise Senior Medical Practitioners, Trainee Medical Officers and Medical Students.
• Participate in programs for personal growth and development.
• Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Participate in and contribute to the academic life of the Department.
