Job summary

NSW Health in Tweed Valley Hospital is seeking an Accredited Hand Therapist or Senior Occupational Therapist with extensive hand therapy experience. This leadership role focuses on specialised hand and upper limb services, especially trauma management, and provides supervision and mentoring to the team.

You will help develop services, support growth, and deliver high-quality hand therapy across Northern NSW, contributing to patient care and team development in a regional health district.

This vacancy is maternity leave relief for an initial period of up to 56 weeks for 24 hours per week; the hours and period of employment may change according to the maternity leave requirements. There is also the possibility of an extension at same / reduced hours.

This senior clinical leadership role focuses on the delivery of specialised hand and upper limb services, with a strong emphasis on trauma management. The position provides leadership in service development, clinical supervision and mentoring, while supporting the growth and delivery of hand therapy services across Northern NSW.
