• Experience engaging diverse stakeholders including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Responsibilities

• Promote and advocate for the best interests of children under guardianship or custody.
• Monitor outcomes and advise on quality of care across relevant services.
• Inquire into and report on systemic reform to improve care quality.
• Investigate matters referred by Ministers or Chief Executive and report findings.
• Lead the Office of the Guardian and report on statutory functions.
