Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Groundwater Modeller to lead complex groundwater impact assessments and regional modelling studies across APAC, collaborating with hydrogeologists, geotechnical specialists and water professionals. You will manage projects from proposal through to delivery, apply advanced numerical modelling (MODFLOW, FEFLOW), mentor junior staff and help grow GHD's groundwater modelling capability.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Hydrogeology or equivalent
• 10+ years' experience in numerical groundwater modelling
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience delivering complex groundwater modelling projects
• Expertise with numerical groundwater flow models such as MODFLOW, FEFLOW and related tools
• Programming skills for modelling automation and data processing, ideally using Python (FloPy)
• Experience with model calibration, uncertainty assessment and PEST-based workflows
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capability
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring others

Senior Groundwater Modeller

We're seeking a Senior Groundwater Modeller to play a key role within our growing APAC Groundwater Modelling team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact projects, influence technical excellence across the region, and contribute to projects that help communities, industries and environments thrive.

Working alongside our Australian and international hydrogeology teams, you'll apply advanced groundwater modelling expertise to solve complex challenges across water resources, mining, infrastructure, energy and environmental projects.

What You'll Be Doing

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years' experience in numerical groundwater modelling
