Key Responsibilities for the Senior Grid Engineer:

• Lead the grid connection process for renewable energy projects, ensuring successful integration and compliance
• Act as the grid connection representative, evaluating studies from consultants, providing feedback, and making decisive calls
• Collaborate with a network of external consultants to drive grid connections with a focus on risk management.
• Conduct technical reviews of grid connection studies, oversee decision-making, and liaise with stakeholders for optimal project outcomes
• Support the Head of grid connection with project planning, budgeting, and strategic decisions

Requirements for the Senior Grid Engineer:

• 8+ years of experience in power system studies, with proven experience in the grid connection process.
• Previous consulting background, with a desire to move into the owner/developer side, is preferred.
• Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to manage risks and handle high-stakes scenarios
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for representing the client and engaging stakeholders
• Experience in large-scale renewable projects such as wind, solar, and storage is preferred.
