Job summary

Muscle Republic is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead graphic concept creation for our brand. You will craft visual assets across websites, emails, social and paid advertising, ensuring consistency with our heartbeat of fitness.

This role sits in Sydney's CBD, reporting to the Senior Creative Manager, and involves mentoring a Junior Graphic Designer. You will drive multidimensional campaigns, design for online and offline channels, and contribute to brand identity development while

Qualifications

• 4/5 years proven graphic design experience, preferably in fitness/retail
• Strong portfolio across organic and paid socials, web and OOH
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
• Experience mentoring or leading junior designers
• Video editing and motion graphics capability (Premiere Pro / After Effects) desired
• Full AU working rights

Responsibilities

• Transform ideas into impactful visual assets for audiences
• Develop designs for offline activations, events, and campaigns across online/offline touchpoints

• Design and execute weekly email campaigns and flows

Job description

At Muscle Republic our vision is to connect the world through the heartbeat of fitness.The Senior Graphic Designer will lead the graphic concept creation for Muscle Republic and create graphic design across websites, emails, social and paid advertising in line with this vision.

Reporting to the Senior Creative Manager this role is perfect for a passionate and creative designer to become an integral part of the team and play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity. This role will be based in Sydney's CBD.

Key Responsibilities

• Transform ideas into impactful visual assets that captivate and engage our audience.


• Develop visually striking designs for offline activations, events, and campaigns, ensuring a cohesive brand experience across both online and offline touchpoints.


• Prepare custom, original templates, graphics, sketches and illustrations to visually communicate Muscle Republic's marketing initiatives across web, socials, ads and OOH activations.


• Design and execute weekly email campaigns and flows through the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator).


• Design promotional campaign banners and imagery for website and app.


• Design and create organic social and paid social assets to brief.


• Concept and produce motion graphic content for social, digital and campaign use, leveraging tools such as Adobe After Effects.


• Effectively manage project timelines to deliver projects on time and on budget, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize workflow and resources across concurrent briefs.


• Analyze and report on graphic performance metrics, using data insights to inform and optimize future design decisions.


• Actively mentor and coach the Junior Graphic Designer, providing regular feedback, creative direction and professional development guidance to foster their growth within the team.


• Bring a bold, innovative mindset that challenges convention and pushes creative boundaries, while always working within and upholding the Muscle Republic brand codes and guidelines.

About You

• Proven experience in the Graphic Design field for 4/5 years, preferably in the fitness, activewear or retail industry.


• A collaborative team player who thrives in a shared creative environment, contributing positively to team culture and supporting those around them.


• A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects across organic and paid socials, web and OOH.


• Advanced Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite & Canva.


• UX/UI Design Understanding: Knowledge of user experience and user interface design principles for digital projects.


• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically, translating concepts into impactful visual assets.


• Exceptional project management and workflow prioritization skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously without compromising quality.


• Proficiency in motion graphics, with hands-on experience in Adobe After Effects or equivalent tools.


• Video editing experience required to support paid and organic channels (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or equivalent).


• Proven experience in a people management or mentoring capacity, with a genuine commitment to developing others.


• Strong analytical skills with experience reporting on creative output and performance, and using insights to continuously improve work.
