Griffon ANZ in Doncaster VIC is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead packaging, digital, and brand communications. You will drive creative concepts from concept to execution while mentoring junior designers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Graphic Design or Senior roles.
• Strong portfolio across brand, packaging, digital and campaigns.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Experience with video editing and motion graphics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of creative projects across packaging, print, POS, digital, social media, websites, video and campaigns.
• Develop innovative concepts that strengthen brand presence and support commercial objectives.
• Create packaging artwork, product graphics and production-ready files.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales and Merchandising teams to launch new products and campaigns.
• Produce engaging digital content including social assets, website graphics, email campaigns and video content.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
• Present creative concepts and recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior designers through coaching and feedback.
• Work closely with external agencies, photographers, videographers, printers and suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to improve creative processes, systems and workflows.
• Stay ahead of emerging design trends, technologies and AI-powered tools.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Graphic Designer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional who thrives on delivering impactful design solutions across packaging, digital, marketing and brand communications.

As a senior member of the Design Team, you'll play a key role in shaping how our brands connect with customers. You'll lead creative projects from concept through to execution, mentor junior designers, collaborate with multiple business functions and help drive innovation across our creative channels.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the design and execution of creative projects across packaging, print, POS, digital, social media, websites, video and marketing campaigns.
• Develop innovative concepts that strengthen brand presence and support commercial objectives.
• Create packaging artwork, product graphics and production-ready files.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales and Merchandising teams to bring new products and campaigns to market.
• Produce engaging digital content including social media assets, website graphics, email campaigns and video content.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
• Present creative concepts and recommendations to key stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years' experience in a Graphic Design or Senior Graphic Design role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing brand development, packaging, digital and campaign work.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Experience with video editing and motion graphics (After Effects and Premiere Pro desirable).
• Strong knowledge of print production, packaging artwork and pre-press requirements.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• The ability to balance creativity with commercial outcomes.
• A collaborative approach and passion for mentoring others.
