Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior GIS Analyst in Australia to grow and support its WA GIS practice. You will lead GIS projects across desktop, web and mobile platforms, deliver spatial analysis, data management and enterprise GIS solutions for diverse sectors.

You will work with ArcGIS Pro/Online/Enterprise, develop practical spatial solutions, and mentor teams while maintaining client relationships and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geographical Information Systems or similar tertiary qualification.
• 4–7 years of relevant professional GIS experience.
• Strong experience across the ArcGIS ecosystem, with ability to develop and maintain web apps and services.
• Experience managing a project from proposal to delivery with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver GIS tasks and projects from scoping through to final delivery.
• Design, build and maintain GIS solutions across desktop, web and mobile platforms.
• Undertake spatial analysis, data transformation and automation for diverse projects.
• Create and quality-check spatial datasets, geodatabases and services to enterprise GIS standards.
• Provide technical advice, troubleshooting, and day-to-day GIS support to teams.
