Catalyst Metals is an active gold mining and exploration company with sites in WA and Victoria. The Marymia team is driven towards delivering resource growth and new mineral discoveries in the region surrounding our Plutonic gold mine. About the Role

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced senior-level geologist to join the team based at our Plutonic gold mine site in WA. The role will be involved in substantial resource development drilling and exploration programs by taking responsibility for the activities and deliverables of an energetic team of geologists and assistants. Other responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Geological assessment and interpretation
• Data integrity
• Costs are planned and expenditures managed
• Ensuring succession according to plan
• Frequently acting as the statutory exploration manager

This position is offered on a permanent full-time basis FIFO from Perth, working a roster of 8‑days‑on and 6‑days‑off. You will have your own assigned room at the Plutonic gold mine camp.

Ideal Candidate

• Tertiary Qualification in geoscience with between 10 and 20 years of industry experience
• At least 10 years of exploration experience
• Skilled in recognising the elements of gold mineralisation as relevant in WA
• Well experienced with the aspects and limitations of modern exploration drilling methods and drill core presentation
• Ability to progress related processes and activities to maximise the utilisation and efficiency of personnel, equipment, and contractors
• Strong attention to detail, and driven towards accuracy in data
• Great organisational and time management skills
• Ability to train, coach, and motivate field personnel. Able to delegate effectively while ensuring outcomes.
