Job summary

HealthcareLink Trust is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse (General) to join a well-established general practice in Hazelbrook, NSW. This permanent, full-time role offers clinical autonomy within a collaborative GP-led team.

You will perform wound care, immunisations, chronic disease monitoring, and health assessments, while mentoring junior staff and supporting preventive care initiatives.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA Division 1 and primary care experience.
• Experience in wound care, immunisations, and chronic disease care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across primary care services including wound management and health assessments.
• Conduct clinical triage, take patient histories, and execute treatment plans under GP direction.
• Administer vaccines and injections per guidelines and protocols.
• Undertake chronic disease management for diabetes, COPD, asthma, cardiovascular disease, and renal impairment.
• Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff and students; maintain accurate records.
