Logical in Melbourne is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to take ideas from concept to production, delivering real business impact. You will lead workstreams, collaborating with data engineers, software engineers and product teams to scale GenAI solutions.

You will prototype GenAI concepts, tune models in production, and design reliable AI systems with strong governance and documentation. Expect impactful, enterprise-scale projects in a hybrid onsite setup.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in AI/ML engineering with production-ready work.
• Experience leading a workstream and guiding staff.
• Hands-on with Python and software engineering.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, agents and GenAI patterns.
• Data preparation and feature engineering; understanding MLOps/LLMOps.
• Understanding of AI in enterprise systems and architecture.
• Experience with SAS, Teradata, CML or OpenShift.

Responsabilités

• Understanding business problems and designing AI solutions.
• Building GenAI and LLM solutions using prompt engineering, RAG and agents.
• Prototype new ideas quickly to test viability.
• Prepare data and connect AI to existing systems.
• Ship production-quality code with version control, testing, CI/CD and deployment.
• Test for accuracy, bias, hallucination and safety; monitor drift and cost.
• Contribute to responsible AI through security, governance and documentation.
