Job summary

CommBank is seeking a Senior Associate to join NBFI Risk in Funds Finance, Sydney or Melbourne. You will identify, assess and manage credit risk across funds, including superannuation and managed funds, and oversee a portfolio with delegation rights.

You will coordinate with IB&M Risk Management, provide risk submissions, analyze market trends, and drive risk mitigation strategies in a highly collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit risk management at a financial institution or NBFI is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, assess and mitigate risks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate risk to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Being the risk adviser in a deal team environment, analysing clients and structures, preparing credit submissions and providing risk decisions or recommendations.
• Monitor and analyse market developments and global industry trends related to funds financing; provide guidance to management.
• Own a portfolio of clients and be responsible for credit risk matters; drive risk management strategies and approvals.
