Job summary

Northern Trust in Australia seeks a Senior Fund Administrator for the Private Equity Operations team. You will be a senior member supporting investor administration, cash management and client reporting for a large PE client, while coordinating with Investment Advisor and internal teams to meet KPIs.

Open to Melbourne or Sydney, the role includes expected signatory status after probation and close collaboration with a close-knit team delivering first-class service.

Qualifications

• Senior Fund Administrator with signatory experience is preferred.
• CA/CPA qualification or equivalent professional credential.
• Experience in fund administration and audits for investment funds.
• Familiar with AU distribution calculations and IFRS/AASB prep FS.
• Strong organisational, analytical and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide premier client service, building relationships with Investment Advisor and third parties.
• Oversee cash management tasks and end-to-end investor administration.
• Process investor transfers, distributions and contact updates.
• Monitor investor audit confirmations and tax reporting.
• Coordinate fund closings and ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Support team members and review junior work, ensuring KPIs are met.
