Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Consultant, Fund Accounting in Melbourne to oversee Unit Pricing and Unit Registry for Australia FA clients. The Melbourne office signs off on final work; role involves close collaboration with regional teams and external clients, and oversight of month-end close processes.

Candidates will participate in new client implementations and restructures under the Manager, Fund Accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required.
• 5+ years of relevant fund accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of unit pricing and unit registry processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to plan fund accounting work.
• Supports development and improvement of fund accounting processes.
• Analyzes accounting data, cash activity, and reconciliations to identify trends and risks.
• Solves complex fund accounting issues using sound judgement and accounting practices.
• Monitors progress of deliverables and communicates updates to stakeholders.
• Ensures timely execution of fund accounting deliverables with quality and compliance.
