Job summary

The Resilience Project (TRP) is seeking a second Software Engineer to join our growing tech team in Collingwood, VIC. You’ll help expand our internal platforms, influence technical decisions, and deliver updates to client-facing applications.

This hands-on role requires building robust features while collaborating with the Tech Manager. You’ll work across Next.js/React front ends, a TypeScript monorepo, and AWS-based services to connect CRM and other systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineer experience across the stack.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver to deadlines.
• Excellent communication, translating technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver features across internal and client-facing apps to fixed deadlines.
• Build and enhance features on client-facing apps and internal platforms.
• Modernise and connect the integration layer; design APIs/GraphQL schemas.
• Manage AWS infrastructure and deployments; maintain platform health.
• Provide technical support to the broader team and help mentor others.
• Lead legacy modernisation efforts to reduce technical debt.
