Job summary

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and implement scalable web applications using React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript in Sydney. You will build robust UI components and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.

The role requires collaboration with product teams, BDAs, QA, and architects, while driving code quality, DevOps practices, and production support. This is a contract role based in Sydney, Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building scalable web apps with React.js and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and high-performance UI components.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Design and implement secure backend services with Node.js and Express.js.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, QA, and Architects.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide L3 support.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decisions.
