Job summary

HammondCare is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer in St Leonards, NSW, on a 22-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working. You will design, build and deliver end-to-end digital and AI solutions spanning front-end, back-end, data and AI, owning complex multi-layer architectures.

You will lead production-grade delivery, align with governance and clinical standards, and provide technical leadership across teams, driving practical, scalable solutions in ambiguous contexts.

About the role

The Senior Full Stack Developer is a senior builder role accountable for d esigning, building and delivering end-to-end digital and AI solutions. You will take ownership of real business problems and turn them into working, production-grade systems - spanning front-end, back-end, data, and AI. This role extends HammondCare's applied AI capability (focused on real workflows, safe usage, and production outcomes) into full-stack delivery and product ownership.

Own the delivery of complex, multi-layer solutions spanning user interfaces, services, data, and AI

Operate effectively in highly ambiguous environments, defining problems and shaping practical, scalable solutions

Ensure all solutions align with enterprise constraints, including governance, privacy, safety, and clinical standards

Provide technical leadership through hands-on delivery, influencing outcomes and driving progress without relying on hierarchy

Lead the development of end-to-end features and products, from design through to production

Coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver cohesive, high-impact solutions

This is a fixed term contract for 22 months at St Leonards with hybrid opportunities.

About You

E ssential Technological Skills

• Core Engineering: Strong full-stack experience (front-end, back-end, integration) and experience delivering production-grade applications
• AI / Data: Experience with: LLMs and orchestration patterns. Data pipelines and AI workflows. AI platforms (Fabric, AI Foundry or equivalent). Proven ability to take AI from prototype to production
• Technical Skills: Front-end: React, TypeScript. Back-end: APIs, microservices. Data & scripting: Python (advanced). Experience with automation and workflow orchestration.
• Delivery & Product: Strong problem-solving and solution design capability, Comfortable working in ambiguity, Strong stakeholder engagement skills
