Job summary

Opticomm, a member of Uniti Group, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the Fibre-to-the-Premises rollout in Queensland. You will lead projects from planning through construction, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will coordinate with developers, subcontractors and internal teams to meet milestones, manage budgets and resources, and mentor site teams to achieve high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in telecommunications construction.
• Formal qualifications in project management or leadership.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards.
• A valid Queensland driver's licence.
• Traffic Controller cards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects across the Queensland portfolio.
• Manage deployment and rollout of infrastructure to support FTTP within Opticomm communities.
• Oversee quality assurance for construction works completed by subcontractors.
• Liaise with developers and consultants on project specs, timelines and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies across the construction division.
• Manage resource requirements and allocation across the Queensland region.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors.
• Mentor and develop project managers and site teams.
