Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking a hands-on React Developer to join our digital delivery team. You’ll turn requirements into responsive web applications, build reusable components, integrate APIs and manage state, while exploring AI coding tools to accelerate delivery.

You’ll collaborate with designers, business analysts and developers across Australia to deliver accessible, secure software. Strong front-end experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript and CI/CD is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing applications using React and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture, state management, API integration and responsive design.
• Experience implementing accessible web applications and applying WCAG standards.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code or similar tools to support software engineering activities.
• Ability to critically review AI-generated code and take ownership of technical quality and outcomes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
