Job summary

Hype DC Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Merchandise Planner to lead merchandise planning across our multi-brand footwear portfolio in Australia and New Zealand. You’ll drive sales, margin, stock and intake forecasting, and work with Buying, Retail Operations, Marketing, Digital and brand partners to turn trade performance into commercial actions.

You’ll lead and develop a Merchandise Planner and Allocator, coach the team, and support the Planning Manager across the broader Hype DC portfolio while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of merchandise planning experience in retail, footwear preferred.
• Strong experience in MSSI/WSSI, Open-to-Buy, forecasting, markdown management and stock governance.
• Analytical skills to turn data into commercial recommendations.
• Experience leading, mentoring or developing team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales, margin, stock and intake forecasting and reforecasting.
• Review weekly trade performance and translate insights into actions.
• Guide allocation and replenishment to maximise availability and sell-through.
• Build tactical trade plans for underperforming areas.
• Plan for key trade events across sales, stock, promotions and allocations.
• Coach and develop Merchandise Planner and Allocator.
