Job summary

Luxoft in Sydney seeks a Fixed Income Integration Business Analyst to drive the implementation and configuration of Bond and Repo products, bridging business and technology to ensure accurate trade lifecycle management from execution through settlement.

You will own interfaces from upstream systems, configure static data feeds, and validate trade flows, settlement messages, and data mappings across Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and SWIFT messaging while coordinating with Front Office, Operations, and IT

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Capital Markets with a focus on Fixed Income (Bonds and Repos).
• Understanding of Bond products (Fixed/Floating Rate, T-Bills, Zero Coupon, Asset Backed).
• Understanding of repo processing: open vs term repos, repo rate conventions, haircuts, close leg generation.
• Excellent knowledge of Bond/Repo lifecycle pricing, trade capture, confirmation and settlement.
• Hands-on experience with Bond static/security master setup from interfaces like Bloomberg/Refinitiv.
• Knowledge of security settlement models, netting, and CSD/custodian interactions.
• Strong SWIFT settlement messaging knowledge (MT 540–548) and related workflows.
• Experience with interface design: data mapping, FIX/API, file-based feeds between front-office and post-trade systems.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg TOMS and/or VCON for trade order management and capture.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the BA for Fixed Income Integration workstreams (Bond/Repo setup, trade lifecycle, settlement).
• Configure and validate Bond static data from external agencies (Bloomberg/Refinitiv).
• Manage integration of Bloomberg TOMS/VCON trade flows; define trade capture requirements and message mappings.
• Define requirements for Bloomberg DL feeds: security reference data, pricing, corporate actions, yield curves; consumption by risk/settlement systems.
• Support end-to-end Bond/Repo lifecycle from trade capture to settlement instruction generation.
• Define and validate SWIFT settlement messaging requirements for security and cash settlements.
• Perform gap analysis between current and target states for trade processing and settlement workflows.
• Facilitate workshops with Front Office, Operations, and Tech to elicit requirements and validate designs.
• Support UAT and end-to-end testing of trade flows and settlement messages.
