Job summary

C3Talent is seeking a Broad Financial Controller to join a multi-site ASX-listed sporting & leisure group, reporting directly to the CFO. The role offers a high-impact leadership position overseeing financial control, governance and compliance while leading a finance team.

You will drive statutory reporting, audit, taxation and robust financial controls, partner with operations and senior leaders on KPI reporting, manage cash flow and treasury, and oversee an ERP transition and process

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified with 10+ years' experience in financial control and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and ASX reporting requirements.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, stakeholder engagement and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and technical accounting to satisfy internal and shareholder needs.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audits and taxation obligations.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity and banking arrangements.
• Deliver insightful commentary and KPI reporting to CFO, executives and Board.
• Drive ERP transition, automation and process improvements across finance.
