Job summary

The Department of Treasury and Finance Tasmania is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to join the Government Finance and Accounting Branch. You will provide authoritative advice on whole-of-government banking, financial reporting, accounting and budgeting activities, and help deliver consolidated statements and budget estimates.

You will work with independence, mentor others, and communicate complex financial matters to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Highly developed financial reporting and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret complex requirements and develop practical solutions to non-routine issues.
• Ability to lead, guide and mentor others while managing competing priorities.
• Ability to produce high-quality financial and written material and provide authoritative advice to stakeholders.
