Job summary

Stannards Accountants & Advisors Pty Ltd is expanding its finance team and seeks a Senior Financial Accountant to deliver accurate month-end reporting and support day-to-day finance operations. Reporting to the GM, Finance & Operations, you will help with budgeting, cash flow, payroll compliance and financial controls across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification, or nearing completion.
• 3–6 years in accounting/finance with month-end close and reporting.
• Experience with Australian tax, payroll compliance.
• Experience with group consolidation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reporting and the Stannards management dashboard.
• Monitor WIP, debtors and lock-up against benchmarks; upscale material issues.
• Prepare financial information for Board and investor reporting.
• Analyze performance against budget, forecast and prior year with variance commentary.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor working capital.
• Coordinate month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations; support external audit.
• Assist integration of acquired entities into group reporting.
