Job summary

Agrifutures seeks a Senior Financial Accountant to join a high-performing finance team, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting transformation initiatives. You will partner with stakeholders across finance and operations, drive process improvements and ERP enhancements in a dynamic retail environment.

The role requires a CA/CPA or equivalent, 5+ years in financial accounting or shared services, strong month-end, reconciliation and governance experience, and

Qualifications

• CA, CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• 5+ years' experience in financial accounting, shared services or business services environments.
• Strong month-end, reporting, reconciliation and financial control experience.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Dynamics 365 or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated process improvement and transformation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of month-end close, journals, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to enhance reporting frameworks.
• Provide guidance and oversight to offshore accounting teams to ensure service quality.
• Support ERP implementation, testing, defect management and post go-live process optimisation.
• Drive process improvement and standardisation initiatives leveraging technology and automation.
• Review complex balance sheet reconciliations and ensure governance of financial controls.
• Coordinate audit deliverables and support compliance requirements.
• Act as a technical accounting resource to resolve complex issues.
