Qualifications

• Proven experience in influencing and mobilising others to implement financial governance and best practice financial strategies and operations.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the NSW Public Sector environment, financial management policies, processes and the relevant regulatory/legislative/statutory requirements that underpin organisational financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to shape financial strategy, enhance performance and support informed business decision‑making.
• Deliver expert advice on complex financial, operational and risk matters, driving timely and effective outcomes.
• Lead financial performance reviews, translating data into insights and proactive solutions for emerging challenges.
• Strengthen governance, compliance and policy adherence while promoting continuous improvement and standardisation.
• Provide senior leadership, mentoring and guidance across the finance partnering function in a dynamic environment.

Education
