Job summary

The University of the Sunshine Coast invites applications for a Senior Finance Business Partner. In this role, you’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, analysis and business modelling, turning complex financial data into clear insights for University leaders.

You’ll partner with Finance, IT and Executive teams to deliver robust reporting, governance and performance insight, supporting strategic decision making and continuous improvement across UniSC’s financial systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial management and accounting standards.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly to executives.
• Proficient in Power BI, Power Query, VBA.
• Experience in higher education sector preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, analysis and business modelling translating complex financial data into insights.
• Improve financial reporting and processes to strengthen efficiency and decision-making.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide trusted financial advice and shape University outcomes.
