In line with the strategic growth plan our established Mining Business has a career opportunity without peer for a technically focussed and commercially savvy Senior Mining Engineer to join our Perth Open Pit team.Reporting directly to the managing Principal, your primary focus will be providing technical leadership on mine planning, design and scheduling and your proficiency in the use of mining software will enable you to set the pace for the team.

You will also be looking for career progression as you mentor and support the ongoing development of less experienced consultants. In addition, you will help to build on new and existing client relationships as a project liaison and when representing SRK at varies conferences and industry events.

YOU:

As asuitably qualifiedMining Engineer,ideally you will have over 7 years of proven open pit experiencewith relevant exposure to projects in the Australian mining industry, either in operations or a similar consultancy role. You will also be skilled in:

• Mine design, planning and scheduling
• Leading small project teams and have exceptional verbal communication
• Writing and producing technical reports
• One or more mining software packages
