About the Role

The Senior Finance Business Partneris responsible for providing expert advice and contributing to the Finance teamthrough providing leadership and engagement to deliver financial and businesssolutions. The role provides high quality financial and budgetary analysis andadvisory services to the Finance team and internal clients that will result inefficient and effective financial performance of business units. The rolesupervises and reviews the work of others in the delivery of key team outcomes,has a focus on process improvement and communication of finance processes andmatters to the broader EPA.

  • High level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work with team members in a deadline focused environment.
  • Proven ability to analyse issues, think logically and understand and interpret a broad range of information, often complex and delivering the outcomes to decision makers.
  • Proven experience in the coordination and completion of all aspects of government budgeting processes.
  • Detailed working knowledge of financial and accrual accounting standards, structures, principles, methods, procedures, processes and practices, particularly as applied in the SA Government

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge or Experience
  • An appropriate Degree level qualification in Accounting or Commerce with proven government accounting experience related discipline
Remuneration

ASO6 ($98,478 - $104,165) + 12% super added to your choice of super fund.

Contract

Term contract(until 13 October 2026)andfull time (37.5 hours per week).

Special Conditions
  • This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. A current National Police Clearance is essential.
  • The incumbent may be required to work out of hours and as the need arises.
