Job summary

Woolworths Group in Sydney seeks a Senior Finance Analyst for BIG WX to drive eCom growth through analytics and business partnering. You will deliver governance, performance analytics and insights that influence customer, trade and profitability decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll partner with eCom, Data, Commercial teams and leverage data tools to produce actionable insights, scorecards and real-time metrics while advancing continuous

Qualifications

Five+ years in Finance, Commercial Analytics or Operations Finance, preferably retail.
Advanced proficiency with SQL, GCP, SAP and Google Suite; exposure to BI/analytics tools such as BigQuery, Looker, Tableau, Connected Sheets.

Responsibilities

Deliver analytics and strategic recommendations across sales, gross profit, pricing, range, and basket profitability.
Manage financial governance, reconciliation, month-end closes, and P&L reporting for new sales channels.
Partner cross-functionally with eCom, Commercial, Operations, Data and Technology teams to meet financial goals.
Design scorecards and visualizations to provide leadership with real-time metrics.
Translate complex business requests into clear problems, success criteria and measurable outcomes.
Champion continuous improvement by leveraging new data tools and AI capabilities to streamline reporting.
