Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly management reporting, providing financial insights and commercial context to support decision-making.
• Coordinate forecasts, annual budgets and long-range plans with stakeholders to challenge assumptions and improve outcomes.
• Analyse financial performance and deliver scenario modelling, business insights and recommendations.
• Drive efficiencies across reporting and forecasting through automation and AI-enabled solutions.
• Manage and enhance cost allocation processes aligned to business needs.
• Prepare financial inputs for asset valuations, investor reporting and executive presentations.
• Build partnerships across finance and the broader business, translating financial information into actionable insights.
• Support knowledge sharing and development of team capability through coaching and collaboration with colleagues.

We're seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to deliver meaningful financial insights, reporting and forecasting that support strategic decision-making across the business. You'll partner closely with finance and operational stakeholders to turn complex data into clear commercial stories, while driving continuous improvements through automation, smarter reporting processes and emerging technologies.

As our Senior Finance Analyst, you'll contribute to work that helps shape the future of our cities and communities through informed, data-driven decisions.

Day-to-day, you will

• Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly management reporting, providing financial insights and commercial context to support decision-making.
• Coordinate the development of forecasts, annual budgets and long-range plans, working closely with business stakeholders to challenge assumptions and improve outcomes.
• Analyse financial performance and deliver scenario modelling, business insights and recommendations that inform strategic and operational decisions.
• Drive efficiencies across reporting and forecasting processes through automation, continuous improvement initiatives and the adoption of AI-enabled solutions.
• Manage and enhance cost allocation processes, ensuring methodologies are transparent, robust and aligned to business needs.
• Prepare financial inputs and analysis for key business deliverables, including asset valuations, investor reporting and executive presentations.
• Build strong partnerships across finance and the broader business, translating complex financial information into clear and actionable insights.
• Support knowledge sharing and the development of team capability through coaching and collaboration with colleagues.

• Experience in financial planning, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis within a complex business environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and compelling way for diverse audiences.
• A proactive and analytical mindset, with a passion for identifying opportunities to improve processes, leverage automation and embrace new technologies.
• Advanced Excel capabilities and confidence working with financial systems and reporting tools.
• Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance or commerce, supported by a professional accreditation such as CPA, CA, CFA or equivalent.
