Job summary

IT Alliance Australia is partnering with a Federal Government client to recruit a Senior Finance Adviser stationed in Canberra. The role focuses on financial governance and reporting, ensuring compliance with central budgeting requirements and statutory deadlines.

You will contribute to planning, forecasting and budget submissions, providing expert advice on the PGPA Act 2013 framework and related rules, and supporting departmental budget processes across the appropriation cycle.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and preparation of financial statements.
• Proven experience in New Policy Proposal (NPP) costing within a Commonwealth Budget context.
• Contribute to Budget submissions, estimates and related central-agency reporting requirements.
• Working knowledge of the Commonwealth financial framework, including the PGPA Act 2013 and related rules.
• Support departmental budget preparation, monitoring, forecasting and variance analysis within an appropriations context.

Responsibilities
