Job summary

nbn is seeking a Senior Field Technician based in Warragul, Victoria, to join our field service team. You’ll install, repair and maintain copper and fibre networks, delivering end-to-end service to homes and businesses while upholding safety and quality.

You’ll work 7am–7pm, travel to sites, and collaborate with a supportive team. ACMA licence and a Certificate III or IV are preferred; experience with copper and fibre fault finding is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication, with excellent customer service skills.
• Experience with copper and fibre networks and fault-finding.
• ACMA licence and a Certificate III or IV preferred, not mandatory.

A bit about your role

As part of a field service team, you’ll discover a diverse and dynamic workplace where no two days are alike. In your day to day work you’ll be the backbone that keeps Australia connected, delivering end-to-end service to homes and businesses across the nation. From installation to repair and maintenance, you’ll see the impact of your work in real time with every satisfied customer. You’ll collaborate with a supportive and inclusive team, with opportunities for coaching, mentorship and career progression at every step.

A bit about you

To thrive in this role, you’ll be an autonomous and motivated self-starter, with extensive experience with copper and fibre network assurance fault finding and installs. You’ll have an appetite to embrace a complex industry while learning and developing on the job, drawing on your dedication, drive, and customer service skills to deliver service with integrity. The ideal candidate will possess an ACMA licence along with a Certificate III or IV qualification. Previous preferred experience would be advantageous; however, it is not a mandatory requirement.
