Job description

This Senior Farm Hand role will focus primarily on the cropping enterprise, while also assisting with the Merino sheep operation during busy periods. The successful applicant will become a key member of a small team and will be given genuine responsibility across the business. The farming operation consists of approximately 70% broadacre cropping and 30% Merino sheep. Crops include wheat, barley, canola, lupins and oaten hay, supported by modern equipment, quality infrastructure and strong management systems.

About the Role:

• Seeding, spraying and harvesting operations;

About You:

• Previous experience as a Senior Farm Hand or similar;
• Strong broadacre cropping background;
• Self-propelled spraying experience;
• Chemical handling and agronomy knowledge;
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills;
• Confidence operating a wide range of modern machinery;
• Good communication and record-keeping ability;
• Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a long-term team;
• MC Truck Licence (Highly Regarded);
• Own tools;
• ChemCert and Forklift Ticket advantageous but not essential.
