Job summary

Legal Aid Queensland is seeking an experienced Senior Family Lawyer to deliver high-quality legal services to vulnerable Queenslanders. You will represent legally aided clients in family law, domestic and family violence, child protection and related matters.

You will prepare matters, instruct counsel and appear as an advocate, while also providing duty lawyer services, legal information, advice and referrals.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience preparing and representing clients in family law matters.
• Knowledge of practice and procedure; strong ethical standards.
• Ability to engage trauma-informed with clients with complex needs.
