Mi Scusi Food is seeking an exceptionally organised, detail-driven full-time Senior Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Perth. As one of WA’s leading catering companies, Mi Scusi curates high-end weddings, private events, corporate activations, venue based F&B management services and remote/off‑site destination celebrations.

THE ROLE

This is an in‑office position, Tuesday to Saturday, with some onsite event work required to build a deep understanding of our event flow, delivery standards, and the client–staff experience. You will work closely with our senior leadership, operations team, chefs, and General Manager to ensure every event is executed seamlessly and ultimately aligns with and exceeds stakeholder expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Event Coordination & Project Management
  • Manage event timelines from initial enquiry through to event delivery and pack‑down.
  • Develop and refine event proposals, run sheets, equipment lists, staffing requirements, and service schedules.
  • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, venue partners and internal teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Oversee key milestones including tastings, menu confirmations, deposit schedules and administrative deadlines.
  • Support the Operations team with onsite setup, service flow understanding and post‑event review processes.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring communication is clear, timely, and warm.
  • Serve as a primary office‑based contact for event updates, logistics and finalisation.
  • Liaise with chefs, function managers, staff and venue to ensure consistent, high‑quality service standards.
  • Administration & Coordination
  • Maintain exceptional organisation across shared calendars, internal drive event folders, operational documents and CRM systems (Monday and Deputy).
  • Assist with equipment planning, delivery logistics, inventory coordination and communication.Support internal team communication to ensure everyone is briefed and prepared.
  • Support the refinement and evolution of event proposals in line with client feedback and ever‑changing requirements.
  • Apply strong commercial judgement when adjusting menus, staffing and service scope.
  • Ensure proposals remain aligned with agreed service standards, operational feasibility and key business objectives.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to balance client experience with sustainable event delivery.
ABOUT YOU
  • Minimum 4+ years in event coordination or project management (or similar role considered).
  • Highly organised, with exceptional time management, prioritisation and administrative accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally, confidently and friendly.
  • A natural problem‑solver who loves logistics, systems and high standards.
  • Experience in hospitality, catering, weddings or large‑scale events.
  • Familiarity with run sheets, supplier coordinations and operational workflows.
  • Outstanding attention to detail – nothing gets past you.
  • Ability to work Tuesday–Saturday weekly in the office.
  • Must have own reliable transport.
  • Full licence.
  • Strong computer and written literacy, communication skills.
  • RSA (WA) and/or Approved Manager card.
Highly Regarded
  • Warm, polished communication style representing a premium brand.
  • Understanding of food and beverage service type hospitality.
  • Comfortable working occasional evenings or weekends if required (infrequently).
  • Staff management, training and communication.
  • Truck driving experience (automatic – on‑road licence) or ability to learn.
