Job summary

Nexus Project Group is expanding its Victoria team and seeks a Senior Estimator / Supervisor to manage insurance claims across Victoria, based in Mulgrave. The role combines estimating, project supervision, and client liaison to deliver high-quality repair outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in insurance estimating and site supervision, with carpentry or related trade qualifications, and strong digital skills in Prime, insurer portals, and PM software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in insurance estimating and site supervision.
• Knowledge of residential building, insurance repairs, construction codes and standards.
• Valid Driver’s Licence and White Card.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed site assessments and prepare accurate scopes of work (SOWs).
• Manage end-to-end delivery of insurance repair projects, ensuring timely, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes.
• Allocate work orders, coordinate trades, and monitor project milestones.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control in line with insurer requirements, WHS regulations, and Nexus standards.
• Identify and manage variations to protect scope and profitability.
• Maintain clear documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, insurers, and subcontractors.

We’re expanding our Victoria team and are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator / Supervisor to manage insurance claims across Victoria.

About the Role

Based in Mulgrave, this senior role combines estimating, project supervision, and client liaison. You’ll:

Conduct detailed site assessments and prepare accurate scopes of work (SOWs).

What We’re Looking For

Trade qualification (Carpentry or similar)
