Job summary

Buildcorp's Fit-Out and refurbishment team delivers complex, high-quality projects requiring innovation, collaboration, and precision. We are seeking both an Estimator and Senior Estimator to join our team who can bring accuracy, commercial insight and technical capability to challenging projects.

You’ll work closely with a network of subcontractors, consultants and internal stakeholders, supported by an industry-leading team of professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating or cost planning with proven success.
• Strong network of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ability to evaluate risk and opportunity in pricing.
• Proficiency in Buildsoft or CostX.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management.
• Qualification in construction management, engineering or quantity surveying.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial tender assessments, evaluating all project aspects, risks and opportunities.
• Produce accurate trade break-ups and secure strong market coverage through your subcontractor relationships.
• Conduct regular meetings with key subcontractors to obtain competitive, accurate pricing.
• Prepare detailed cost plans for internal review.
• Lead the preparation of handover packages and budgets for successful tenders.
• Collaborate with internal bid teams on program, budget inputs, value engineering and alternate solutions.
• Support and coach estimators, contributing to team capability and performance.
