Job summary

Atelier Ten is a global sustainable design consultancy seeking a Senior Environmental Designer in Sydney. You will lead large, complex projects and collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to integrate sustainability across buildings, precincts and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, architecture, building science or related discipline.
• 8+ years of professional ESD experience; five+ years managing projects.
• Australian sustainability consulting experience; leading projects to Green Star ratings.

Responsibilities

• Lead large and complex sustainable building projects.
• Manage client relationships, work plans, budgets and junior team contributions.
• Shape sustainability strategies and facilitate design workshops.
• Scope and oversee daylight, energy and thermal comfort analysis.
• Support projects through Green Star, WELL, NABERS, Living Building Challenge and other frameworks.
• Mentor team members and help build local technical capability.
• Contribute to proposals, client engagement and industry thought leadership.
