Water Corporation in Australia seeks an Environmental Approvals Specialist to provide environmental approvals and technical advice across water and wastewater projects. You will engage regulators, identify requirements and support project teams to achieve delivery milestones while ensuring compliance.
The role requires a degree in Environmental Science or related discipline, experience with WA/Commonwealth legislation, GIS proficiency and strong communication skills to build productive
Qualifications
- Degree in Environmental Science or related field with considerable experience in environmental approvals.
- Experience coordinating statutory environmental approvals under WA and Commonwealth legislation.
- Experience using GIS to support environmental assessments and project planning.
- Strong organizational, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsabilités
- Develop and deliver environmental approvals documentation and technical advice to obtain statutory approvals.
- Coordinate and manage environmental approvals for multiple projects with regulators and project teams.
- Provide technical guidance on environmental risks in asset acquisition and project decision-making.
- Support early planning and integration of environmental considerations into delivery.
- Build relationships with regulators, customers, industry bodies and contractors.
