EBR Ever Better Recruitment is helping our client find an Environment Advisor based in Neutral Bay, Sydney. The role involves desktop and field biodiversity assessments, advising on environmental designs, and developing staff while working with multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates will have NSW biodiversity expertise, the ability to lead, and a strong focus on risk management. A full-time role is preferred, with part-time considered for the right applicant.

Qualifications

• Desktop and field-based terrestrial biodiversity assessments.
• Advice for environmental designs such as fauna connectivity structures.
• Biodiversity offset strategies and biodiversity monitoring.
• Developing the skills of less senior staff.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Preparing reports to exceptional technical and editorial standards.

Responsibilities

• Undertake desktop and field biodiversity assessments across projects.
• Provide expert advice on environmental designs and fauna connectivity.
• Develop biodiversity offset strategies and monitor outcomes.
• Mentor and grow less senior staff within the team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Prepare high-standard technical and editorial reports.
