Job summary

Bunnings is looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect - Customer to define the technology strategy for customer experiences across digital commerce, service, quoting and sales pipelines. You will lead across a broad landscape, partnering with business leaders to shape roadmaps, drive architectural decisions and deliver connected solutions.

This role offers influence across multiple channels and a focus on sustainable, innovative technology.

Qualifications

• Significant EA experience in large, complex organisations (5–10 years).
• Knowledge of Commercial & Retail customer journeys and platforms.
• Experience creating EA strategies, target state architectures and roadmaps.
• Strong cloud, integration, data architecture and security expertise.
• Familiar with TOGAF; exposure to Ardoq is valued.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Mentoring others and building architectural capability.

As our Senior Enterprise Architect - Customer, you'll play a key role in defining the technology strategy behind some of our most important customer experiences. From digital commerce to customer service, quoting solutions and sales pipeline management, you'll help create seamless experiences for both consumer and commercial customers.

What You'll Need

• Significant experience in Enterprise Architecture within large, complex organisations (minimum 5-10 years).
• Strong understanding of customer-facing platforms, including Commercial Quoting & Sales Pipeline, Customer Service, eCommerce, Loyalty and Payments.
• Knowledge of commercial (Trade and Business) and Retail customer journeys, with an appreciation for how technology enables great customer experiences.
• Experience developing enterprise architecture strategies, target state architectures and technology roadmaps.
• Strong expertise across cloud platforms, integration patterns, data architecture and security principles.
• Knowledge of emerging AI technologies and the ability to understand where and how AI will play a role across technology decisions
• Experience working with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Exposure to architecture management tools such as Ardoq will be highly regarded.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A passion for mentoring others and helping build architectural capability across teams.
• Tertiary qualifications in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience working with Salesforce is essential
