Consolidated Power Projects Australia is seeking a Senior Engineer - SCADA to join our Victorian Engineering team in Doncaster. You will design and configure SCADA for high‑voltage substations and related equipment, working with a seasoned SCADA group on landmark renewable and utility projects.

You’ll deliver designs aligned with client standards, support tender activities, and provide input to ensure buildable, robust SCADA solutions for Australia’s energy transition.

Competenze

• Degree or equivalent in electrical/computer engineering.
• Turnkey HV substation design experience from concept to commissioning.
• Experience specifying SCADA systems for substations.

Job Description

CPP has the largest in-house design and engineering team of any contractor in Australia, with over 170 specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary, Civil, Structural, and SCADA disciplines. We provide end-to-end engineering solutions for high-voltage infrastructure, including nationally significant transmission projects, HV substations, wind farms and battery storage systems that drive Australia’s renewable energy transition.

Our engineers work closely with construction and operations teams, ensuring designs are practical, constructible, and continually refined through real-world feedback. The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer - SCADAto join our Victorian Engineering team, delivering high-quality SCADA designs for high-voltage substations and associated power system equipment.

Based within our established Doncaster office, you will work closely with a highly experienced group of SCADA engineers, designing and configuring SCADA systems for some of Australia’s landmark renewable energy and utility projects.

This role is predominantly design-focused, with hands‑on involvement in system configuration and testing across our project sites. You will be responsible for developing designs that comply with client and industry standards, as well as providing technical input and support during tender preparation.

Qualifications

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Turnkey project expertise in high voltage substation design from concept to commissioning including knowledge of industry and different client standards
• Experience in specifying and configuring SCADA systems in a substation environment
• Working knowledge of different SCADA and Communications products used on substation projects
• Strong knowledge of Australian industry standards
