Job summary

ADP Consulting in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to lead hydraulic services design on a range of complex building projects. You will shape sustainable outcomes from concept through to construction, coordinating with clients, architects and consultants to deliver efficient, code‑compliant water, drainage, gas and stormwater systems.

  • 6+ years of experience in hydraulic services design within the building services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC/BCA, WSUD principles and authority requirements.
  • Ability to lead medium-to-large scale projects and coordinate across electrical, mechanical and fire protection services.

  • Lead hydraulic services design on complex building projects from concept to construction.

What is your role?

You'lllead the hydraulic services design on a range of complex building projects, contributing to the delivery of coordinated, sustainable solutions in a multidisciplinary setting. From concept through to construction,you'llwork closely with clients, architects,buildersand consultants to deliver efficient and code-compliant systems across water, drainage,gasand stormwater.

You'llbe responsible fordriving technical quality, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to project delivery across a variety of sectors. This is a key leadership role that offers the opportunity to make a real impact in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

About You
  • You bring6+ years of experiencein hydraulic services design within the building services sector, with a proven ability to lead medium-to-large scale projects.
  • You have in-depth technical knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC/BCA, WSUD principles and authority requirements.
  • You'reconfident delivering projects independently, while coordinating with other services such as electrical, mechanical and fire protection.
  • You have a strong portfolio of work across sectors like commercial, healthcare, education, residential.
  • You'repassionate about sustainability and are experienced in integrating water-saving initiatives and green building practices into your designs.
  • You'reknown for your clear communication, practical problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • You hold a relevant tertiary qualification and are registered (or eligible for registration) as a professional engineer inSA.
