Qualifications

• Special Counsel with substantial experience in employment law.
• Strong track record running complex employment disputes and advisory matters.
• Comfortable acting as primary adviser to sophisticated clients.
• Ability to make strategic calls and lead matters independently.
• Enjoy mentoring and developing junior lawyers.
• Commercially minded with growth mindset for the practice.

Responsibilities

• Run complex employment and workplace matters from start to finish.
• Lead Fair Work Commission proceedings and employment litigation.
• Advise on general protections and adverse action claims.
• Manage restraint of trade and confidential information disputes.
• Oversee executive appointments, exits and negotiated departures.
• Advise on complex terminations and workplace disputes.
• Provide strategic employment advice on sensitive matters.
• Act as primary adviser to boards, business owners, HR leaders and senior executives.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers while remaining hands-on.
