Animal Emergency Australia’s AES Canberra is seeking a Senior Emergency Vet to provide clinical leadership, guide shift decisions, and mentor veterinarians and nurses in a high‑volume ECC setting. You’ll work alongside an experienced ECC team with access to advanced imaging, IDEXX analysers and ventilators.

Qualifications

• BVSc (or equivalent) with Australian registration is required.
• Strong emergency and critical care skills are essential.
• Mentoring and team development experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and guide shift decisions.
• Mentor veterinarians and nurses to develop ECC capabilities.
• Treat a wide range of medical and surgical emergencies from urgent to critical.
• Collaborate with a skilled ECC nursing and support team and use advanced equipment.
