Job summary

Marble Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Supervisor/Project Manager for commercial construction on the Gold Coast or Brisbane. You will own projects from planning to delivery, with a strong emphasis on budgeting, financial control and commercial performance, coordinating site teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget completion while meeting safety standards.

This is a senior, hands-on role with ownership of budgets, forecasts and variation management,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing commercial construction projects
• Strong understanding of project financial control, budgeting and cost management
• Experience managing project budgets and forecasting final project outcomes
• Strong contract and commercial management skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to project delivery
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, programming and procurement

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of assigned electrical commercial construction projects
• Manage project budgets, costs, variations, forecasting and financial reporting
• Maintain strong financial control and ensure projects achieve targeted margins
• Develop and manage construction programs, procurement schedules and project milestones
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams
• Manage contracts, variations, claims and commercial negotiations
• Monitor project performance, identifying and resolving issues before they impact cost or program
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key project stakeholders
• Ensure projects are delivered to the required quality, safety and compliance standards
• Provide regular project updates and financial reporting to senior management
• Lead and support site teams to maintain a high standard of project delivery
