Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Adelaide or Perth office. You will strengthen local electrical engineering capabilities across mining and industrial infrastructure, elevating client service and project delivery.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to sustaining capital and decarbonisation studies while expanding the team and capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.
• Proven engineering/design experience within mining, local government or heavy industry sectors.
• Exposure to the design and specification of industrial systems such as HV/LV distribution, controls and communications, safety systems and motor controls.
• Proficient in producing engineering documentation such as technical specifications, datasheets, reports and scope of works.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical components of projects across all phases of the project lifecycle, including feasibility, detailed design, procurement, site construction and commissioning.
• Collaborate with engineers across a range of projects within resources/industrial, transport, water and buildings.
• Provide technical advice on local sustaining capital projects and studies.
• Support ANZ industrial decarbonisation studies.
• Mentor, develop and guide junior engineers while growing the team.
